1. About D.T.A.G Taekwondo Dojang

D.T.A.G Taekwondo Dojang is a registered Taekwondo training academy founded and operated by Coach Sudhanshu Kumar (Black Belt 2nd Dan, Sabum). The academy operates three branches in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Our full name is D.T.A.G Taekwondo Dojang and the tagline "To Give a Chance to Play for the Nation" reflects our mission.

2. Eligibility & Enrollment

• Taekwondo classes are open to all students aged 3 years and above regardless of gender.
• Students below 18 years of age must have enrollment confirmed by a parent or legal guardian.
• Enrollment is subject to availability of slots in the batch of your choice.
• The academy reserves the right to accept or decline enrollment at its sole discretion.
• A free trial class may be offered to new students. Attending a trial class does not guarantee admission.

3. Fees & Payment Policy

• Monthly tuition fees are payable in advance by the 5th of every month.
• Fee amounts are as listed on our Courses & Fees page and are subject to revision with prior notice.
• Fees paid are non-refundable except in special circumstances at the sole discretion of the head coach.
• Belt examination fees, uniform costs, and competition registration fees are separate from monthly tuition and are payable as and when applicable.
• Continued non-payment of fees may result in suspension or termination of enrollment.
• No fee reduction is available for absent days or months of inactivity due to personal reasons.

4. Attendance & Conduct

• Regular attendance is expected. Consistent absence may affect belt promotion eligibility.
• Students are expected to arrive on time and in appropriate training attire (dobok/training uniform).
• Respectful behavior toward the coach, fellow students, and academy staff is mandatory at all times.
• The use of mobile phones during training sessions is prohibited.
• Any student found bullying, using abusive language, or engaging in violent behavior outside the training context may be expelled without refund.
• Students must follow all instructions given by Coach Sudhanshu Kumar or appointed instructors.

5. Belt Examinations

• Belt promotion examinations are conducted periodically (approximately every 3–4 months).
• Eligibility for belt exams is at the discretion of the coach, based on attendance, skill, and conduct.
• Examination fees are non-refundable once the examination has been conducted.
• Certificates and belts will be awarded only upon successful completion of the examination.
• The academy does not guarantee promotion at every examination cycle.

6. Health, Safety & Medical Disclaimer

• Taekwondo is a contact martial art. Minor injuries (bruises, muscle soreness) may occur during normal training.
• Students with pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or disabilities must inform the coach before commencing training.
• The academy is not liable for injuries that occur during training if proper safety protocols have been followed.
• In the event of a training-related injury, the academy will provide first aid. Students are responsible for their own medical insurance and healthcare costs.
• Parents/guardians of minor students acknowledge the physical nature of martial arts training and accept this risk upon enrollment.
• Students are advised to stay hydrated, wear appropriate footwear outside the training mat, and follow warm-up/cool-down instructions.

7. Photography & Media Consent

By enrolling in D.T.A.G Taekwondo, students (and parents/guardians of minors) grant the academy permission to:

• Photograph and video record students during training sessions, examinations, and events
• Use such photographs and videos on the academy's website, social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube), and promotional materials

If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify the coach in writing. This preference will be respected to the best of our ability.

8. Website Use

• All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the intellectual property of D.T.A.G Taekwondo Dojang unless stated otherwise.
• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
• The website is provided "as is." We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or availability of the website.
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website at any time without notice.

9. Third-Party Services

This website uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms and privacy policies:

• Google Analytics 4 — for website traffic analysis (policies.google.com)

• Formspree — for processing contact form submissions (formspree.io/legal)

We are not responsible for the content or practices of these third-party services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• D.T.A.G Taekwondo Dojang and Coach Sudhanshu Kumar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of our website or participation in our programs.
• Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you for the current month of enrollment.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of these Terms or your enrollment at D.T.A.G Taekwondo shall first be attempted to be resolved through direct communication with Coach Sudhanshu Kumar. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

12. Termination

Either party (student/parent or the academy) may terminate enrollment with 15 days' written notice. The academy reserves the right to immediately terminate enrollment without notice or refund for serious violations of conduct as described in Section 4.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued enrollment after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
